Plantation Oaks of Ormond Beach is Florida’s newest 55+ resort living community. This private, gated, age-restricted, luxury manufactured home retirement community consists of 427 homesites on 233 acres. The community will be developed in four phases. The first phase consists of 97 land-lease home sites. It has a 10,000 square foot clubhouse and many onsite amenities. All our luxury manufactured homes are built with 2x6 construction and double pane windows making them built strong and energy efficient.
Homes are set on an engineered footer, so the perimeter of the home is on a 16” wide 8" deep concrete and rebar footer (not a requirement but we do it). The home sits on block piers and those perimeter piers sit on that footer, while to interior piers sit on pads. There are also galvanized steel hurricane straps that go through the footer 4 feet into the ground that are pressure tested and affixed to the steel beam base of the home these are placed around the entire perimeter of the home.
The garages are built onsite on a slab, 2x4 construction while the home is 2x6 exterior wall construction.

Our road grade is at 31ft above sea level making the home actually sit 2-3ft higher than that.

All homes will be factory-built HUD code homes that include a cozy front porch. A custom two-car garage is built on site for each home. Home sizes vary, from 2 - 3 bedrooms, 2 baths with a minimum of 1,200 square feet to 2,800 square feet.
